Job Summary:
United Diamond Contractors & Trading (UDCT) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman – Plumbing & Fire Protection to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Revit MEP and extensive experience drafting plumbing and fire protection systems. This role is essential in ensuring our technical designs are executed with precision, accuracy, and in full compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed 2D and 3D plumbing and fire protection system drawings using Revit MEP.
- Develop plans, sections, isometric drawings, and details in accordance with project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards (e.g., IPC, UPC), and company drafting procedures.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and designers for model coordination and problem resolution.
- Update drawings based on design revisions and site feedback.
- Maintain high quality and attention to detail under tight project deadlines.
- Stay informed on new materials, codes, and technologies related to plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Ensure all work adheres to Quality Management System (QMS) protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection drafting.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP is essential.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and fire protection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
