What is a Data Center
A data center is a facility designed for continuous use by several users.
DC In UDCT is well equipped with
- Computer systems
- Telecommunications and storage systems.
Generally, It includes:
- power supplies,
- data communications connections,
- environmental controls (e.g., air conditioning, fire suppression) and security devices.
Power System
Raised floor
40NF panel:
–38mm-thick particle board core
–strengthened by high performance resins
–Up to 650 Kilogram per cubic centimeter (high density)
Coated from both sides by different material
–From the top the coating is antistatic hard plastic laminate for better isolation and liquid leak protection.
–From the bottom is 0.5 mm galvanized steel for also isolation and high air circulation under the raised floor.
40NF can carry up to 2000 Kilogram force per square meter
Perforated panel:
–steel perforated panel 60X60 CM 588 holes 13mm diameter each
–max flow rate/tile = 1200 cubic meter/hr
Pedestals (better cooling area, air circulation)
–medium stringers (UNI8)
–Height of 60 cm.
Raised floor height = 45 cm (Tier II)
Floor loading Kg/m2 = 488 (Tier II)
Raised Floor Features
