HYGOOD has a range of inert gaseous fire suppression systems specifically designed to provide effective fire suppression in a number of different environments. Fire risks in commercial and industrial environments can vary in terms of degree of risk and causes of fire risks. HYGOOD gaseous fire suppression solutions have been specifically developed by our experts in fire suppression who have analysed and evaluated the fire risk factors associated with each environment to produce the most effective solution.
The AquaMist product range includes globally approved Water Mist solutions backed by decades of expertise in fire protection. AquaMist offers a broad range of systems to offer the most suitable fire suppression solution for you to help protect people and property against a wide variety of fire risks. The fine water mist generated is designed to extinguish fires, or limit fire growth at an early stage, depending on the asset to be protected. AquaMist can help provide effective cooling and fire control on solid, deep-seated fires such as furniture, paper and cables (Class A).
On fires such as lubricants or fuels (Class B) or cooking oils (Class F) AquaMist can assist with extinguishment and prevention of re-ignition. AquaMist can help cool the surrounding area, limiting the spread of fire. The AquaMist system benefits include a reduction of up to five times in the water required (when compared to standard sprinkler systems), while providing a superior control on applicable Class A, B and F fires.
3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid is a clean agent fire extinguishant which was developed as a halon replacement and hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) alternative. It belongs to a family of chemicals called halocarbons, a group which includes HFCs and fluoroketones. Novec 1230 fluid is a fluoroketone, while chemical clean agents like FM-200™ and ECARO-25® are HFCs (HFC-227ea, HFC-125). Novec 1230 fluid has a global warming potential (GWP) of less than one while these HFCs have a GWP of more than 3000. Novec 1230 fluid has the highest margin of safety for human occupancy among clean agents, including inert gas.
