Product overview

This inert-gas system suppresses fire by reducing oxygen concentration within the protected enclosure. Regulated discharge helps control downstream pressure and supports a distribution arrangement with smaller pipework than conventional orifice systems. Selector valves allow the designer to consider several protected enclosures served by one container bank.

Key features

  • Regulated discharge supports efficient pipe and vent design
  • Selector valves enable multi-enclosure arrangements
  • Acoustic nozzle options address sound-sensitive applications

Applications

Sensitive equipment enclosures, including server rooms and data center spaces, where the system design and personnel safeguards permit inert-gas protection.

Selection and project integration

Share the protected-space drawings, hazard description, equipment schedule and project specification with UDCT. The technical review should establish the selected system configuration, required quantity, installation constraints and interfaces with the detection and control equipment. For gaseous suppression, enclosure integrity, pressure relief, discharge acoustics and personnel safeguards must be assessed as part of the engineered design.

The published model designation is a product reference, not a final bill of materials. Agent quantities, pipe sizing, nozzle selection, storage arrangements and release logic depend on the approved design. Use the current manufacturer instructions for installation, testing and maintenance, and confirm availability with UDCT before procurement.
