Product overview
CHEMGUARD NFF-3H is a non-fluorinated concentrate designed for 3% solution on Class B hydrocarbon fires. It is not an alcohol-resistant substitute for protection of polar solvents. Its intended system arrangements include documented Type II, Type III and sprinkler applications, with selected proportioning and discharge equipment. Water quality, foam generation, fuel type and equipment compatibility affect the finished system. The published physical properties describe the concentrate under stated test conditions; they are not a guarantee of identical foam expansion from every discharge device.

Key features
- Product: NFF-3H 3% SFFF concentrate
- Fuel scope: Hydrocarbon fuels; not suitable for polar solvents
- Proportioning: 3%
Applications
Hydrocarbon fuel storage, loading and processing hazards, documented aircraft-hangar protection and compatible mobile firefighting equipment. Polar-solvent hazards require a different, appropriately selected product and system design.
Selection and project integration
Provide UDCT with the fuel or test application, required capacity, available water pressure and flow, selected concentrate and compatible equipment. Confirm the exact part numbers, coupling threads, storage conditions and current manufacturer instructions. For foam systems, use the fuel-specific application criteria and approved proportioning/discharge assembly; commissioning must verify the actual hydraulic and proportioning performance.
