Product overview
CHEMGUARD VARI-X-III is a portable adjustable-expansion foam nozzle with a matching eductor and inlet pressure gauge. A large selector knob provides discrete low-, medium- and high-expansion settings. Each setting has its own concentration, inlet pressure and documented throw range, so the chosen setting must be treated as a complete operating combination. The published ranges describe manufacturer test conditions and do not establish a guaranteed coverage envelope at every site. Select the appropriate compatible concentrate, inlet coupling and water supply, and confirm the current model revision before specification.

Key features
- Product: VARI-X-III adjustable-expansion portable foam nozzle
- NH-thread model: EF10572
- NPSH-thread model: EF10573
Applications
Selected portable foam response for spill-fire control and vapour mitigation using an appropriate agent. Confirm the hazard, required expansion mode, water duty and deployment conditions before selecting the operating setting.
Selection and project integration
Provide UDCT with the fuel or test application, required capacity, available water pressure and flow, selected concentrate and compatible equipment. Confirm the exact part numbers, coupling threads, storage conditions and current manufacturer instructions. For foam systems, use the fuel-specific application criteria and approved proportioning/discharge assembly; commissioning must verify the actual hydraulic and proportioning performance.
