Product overview
CHEMGUARD COM-HD is a water-powered oscillating base that can be supplied alone or as a monitor assembly. A small diverted water flow drives the gearbox, allowing the monitor to sweep a preset arc without an electrical drive. The monitor and nozzle remain separate selection items unless included in the ordered assembly. Oscillation arc, speed, elevation and flow must be set for the actual protected area and hydraulic supply. Approval references are assembly-specific: the base alone does not establish approval for every externally supplied monitor, nozzle or foam concentrate.

Key features
- Model: COM-HD
- Drive: Water-powered double-reduction gearbox; no external electrical drive
- Operating inlet pressure: 40–200 psi / approximately 2.8–14 bar
Applications
Engineered foam or water monitor systems for relevant tank farms, refineries, hangars and heliports. Confirm the selected assembly listing, swept coverage, drainage, supply pressure and functional-test arrangement for the project.
Selection and project integration
Provide UDCT with the fuel or test application, required capacity, available water pressure and flow, selected concentrate and compatible equipment. Confirm the exact part numbers, coupling threads, storage conditions and current manufacturer instructions. For foam systems, use the fuel-specific application criteria and approved proportioning/discharge assembly; commissioning must verify the actual hydraulic and proportioning performance.
