Product overview
The VES eNET VF1170-00 links compatible Elite and Elite RS panels and repeaters into a coordinated fire alarm network. Its two-wire RS485 arrangement supports system-wide event indication and configured cause-and-effect responses. Up to 64 nodes can be programmed using the compatible configuration tools, with cable type, distance and network topology established by the manufacturer technical manual.

Applications
Multi-panel fire alarm installations requiring coordinated indication, configured control logic and network-wide test or disablement functions.
Selection and project integration
Share the fire alarm drawings, equipment schedule, compatible panel platform and cause-and-effect requirements with UDCT. Selection should confirm device protocols, supported interfaces, circuit supervision, power and standby calculations, and the exact enclosure or module arrangement.
Use the current manufacturer documentation to check compatibility, wiring limits, software requirements and approval scope. Commissioning should verify the configured alarm, fault, indication and control functions as part of the complete system. Remote reporting also requires a compatible receiving service and confirmation of local network availability.
