Product overview
The VES VF2011-00 Photoelectric Smoke Sensor uses photoelectric smoke sensing to report conditions to a compatible fire alarm control panel. The detector, mounting base and panel must be selected as a compatible combination, with sensitivity and alarm functions configured for the approved design. The model-specific supply, current and environmental data below supports device selection and loop power calculations. The manufacturer specifies that mounting bases are ordered separately.

- Sensing method: Photoelectric smoke detection
- Operating voltage: 24–41 V DC
Applications
Photoelectric smoke detection in compatible fire alarm designs, with air velocity and sensitivity selected within the manufacturer limits.
Selection and project integration
Share the fire alarm drawings, equipment schedule, compatible panel platform and cause-and-effect requirements with UDCT. Selection should confirm device protocols, supported interfaces, circuit supervision, power and standby calculations, and the exact enclosure or module arrangement.
Use the current manufacturer documentation to check compatibility, wiring limits, software requirements and approval scope. Commissioning should verify the configured alarm, fault, indication and control functions as part of the complete system. Remote reporting also requires a compatible receiving service and confirmation of local network availability.
