Product overview
The VES VF2050 and VF2051 are conventional detector bases in 4 inch and 6 inch formats. They provide the mounting and electrical connection for the specifically listed detector combinations and have a tamper-protection locking feature. The base itself draws no standby or alarm current; the circuit calculation uses the chosen detector. The compatibility sheet includes both current references and models expressly marked discontinued, which are distinguished below.

Applications
Mounting of the documented conventional detectors within a compatible listed panel arrangement, including assessment of existing installations with discontinued detectors.
Selection and project integration
Share the fire alarm drawings, equipment schedule, compatible panel platform and cause-and-effect requirements with UDCT. Selection should confirm device protocols, supported interfaces, circuit supervision, power and standby calculations, and the exact enclosure or module arrangement.
Use the current manufacturer documentation to check compatibility, wiring limits, software requirements and approval scope. Commissioning should verify the configured alarm, fault, indication and control functions as part of the complete system. Remote reporting also requires a compatible receiving service and confirmation of local network availability.
