Product overview
The VES VF5650 provides loop-powered audible notification on a compatible XP95A fire alarm system. It supports individual addressing, synchronized tones and two documented volume settings. An isolator-status LED indicates a detected short circuit. Although the sheet lists an IP65 enclosure rating, it explicitly limits the product to indoor use. Coordinate loop current, panel support, tone selection and sound coverage as part of the approved notification design.

Applications
Indoor audible fire alarm notification on a compatible XP95A or documented Discovery UL system, with coverage and evacuation tone established for the project.
Selection and project integration
Share the fire alarm drawings, equipment schedule, compatible panel platform and cause-and-effect requirements with UDCT. Selection should confirm device protocols, supported interfaces, circuit supervision, power and standby calculations, and the exact enclosure or module arrangement.
Use the current manufacturer documentation to check compatibility, wiring limits, software requirements and approval scope. Commissioning should verify the configured alarm, fault, indication and control functions as part of the complete system. Remote reporting also requires a compatible receiving service and confirmation of local network availability.
