Product overview
The VES VF7005 / VF7006 Low Frequency Sounder Base / Trim combines a compatible sensor mounting arrangement with local audible alarm indication. The documented 520 Hz output is intended for applications requiring a low-frequency alarm signal. The base obtains its addressing relationship from the attached sensor, while an auxiliary supply provides sounder power. Selection must account for detector compatibility, loop quantity, auxiliary current, voltage drop and the permitted operating environment.

- Sounder frequency: 520 Hz
- Sound pressure level: 85 dB at 10 ft, as stated in sheet
Applications
Local audible indication in compatible hotel, apartment and hospital fire alarm designs. Verify sound coverage, required alarm pattern and the listed sensor/base combination for the project.
Selection and project integration
Share the fire alarm drawings, equipment schedule, compatible panel platform and cause-and-effect requirements with UDCT. Selection should confirm device protocols, supported interfaces, circuit supervision, power and standby calculations, and the exact enclosure or module arrangement.
Use the current manufacturer documentation to check compatibility, wiring limits, software requirements and approval scope. Commissioning should verify the configured alarm, fault, indication and control functions as part of the complete system. Remote reporting also requires a compatible receiving service and confirmation of local network availability.
